The “photo of the week” on More 2 Explore is taken from our collection of travel photos throughout the past 5 years and is typically from the same month for which it is posted. Be sure to click “follow” to see more photos each week!
On the north face of the Rhine (in Basel) the moss grows on the wall in the shade of a _____ tree. (any arborists out there?) I have been told this is from a Sweet Gum tree, but it looks more like a chestnut to me… I’ve been know to be wrong, at times.
You are probably thinking, nice picture, but what the hell is it and what does it have to do with travel? Nothing really, but interesting things can be just outside our front door… Ok, so I’m running out of travel images from the month of June, usually we travel to Grindelwald (Bort) each year. This was the first image I found, and it almost posted, but then I found another one, and with a little editing I think it came out better… So surprise!! 2 pictures for this week which concludes our first month of the “Photo of the week…” There will be more, so be sure to follow if interested to see them..
This one was from a trip to Obersteinberg, Switzerland in 2008. You can only get here by foot, mule or helicopter… It is really nice to see this place once you do arrive.
