In the Swiss Alps, you can find the Aletsch Glacier, the largest in the Alps and estimated to be up to 1km thick!  It can be viewed from many different areas along its 23 km (14 miles) of length from the top of Jungfrau to Belalp.  This photo was taken from Belalp, were we recommend a nice place to get away to nature as well.

This was submitted as part of the Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Forces of Nature.
