Mountain lakes are great reflecting pools and The Alps are littered with them.  Many have seen the quintessential Matterhorn viewed from Riffelsee, or the Schreckhorns (Grindelwald) from Bachalpsee, and maybe even Titlis from Trübsee.  Perhaps a lesser known destination in Switzerland is the area of Appenzell and the lake of Seealpsee. The view to Säntis is equally nice, but the view in September, with the fall colors appearing in the trees should not be missed.  For some more photos in this area, visit one of our other posts.
