I’ve been reading lots of nature books lately and with the summer quickly approaching, I am looking to sink my teeth into some lighter reading. I have been a long-time admirer of Yvon Chouinard, Founder of Patagonia. I read his awesome book, Let My People Go Surfing and it was tremendous. He shed light on what it means to be a “reluctant business man,” how to form better companies and make positive impacts while doing so. Nothing but deep admiration for that man!
I was thrilled to hear that he is releasing a new book, which seems a great way to start the summer. His new book, Some Stories can be viewed here.
I am also interested in reading the third book of The Land of Stories out loud to my children over the summer months, as I have a nighttime ritual of reading to my son these enchanted tales before he falls asleep.
I would also like to dive into the Mary Poppins collection, which seems fabulous.
And finally, because the older I become the more I admire tenacious, brave, go get ’em kind of women, I am anxious to get my hands on The Choice by Dr. Edith Eger. I don’t think their could be a braver soul than Dr. Edith Eger.
